DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette which contains the Compaq Insight 
Management Desktop Agents for Windows NT.  This release supports the new 
Compaq Deskpro 2000, 4000, and 6000 models.  Compaq Insight Management 
Desktop Agents operate on Compaq Desktop computers that have Intelligent 
Manageability features, monitoring the health of the system and 
generating alert notification for the system administrator if a 
performance degradation such as a disk fault or temperature condition is 
detected.  The software includes SNMP agents for managing the system 
with an SNMP-compliant management application, like Compaq Insight 
Manager or the Arcada Backup Exec SMART Client.

HOW TO USE

1. Format two 1.44 MB diskettes.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1951.EXE.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: 
   SP1951 [ENTER]

You will be prompted to place formatted 1.44 MB diskettes into a 
diskette drive to create the diskettes 

4. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP1951.EXE if you wish.

5. At this point, the Compaq Insight Management Desktop Agent diskettes 
have been created and are ready for installation.

6. Read all README files on the diskettes before running SETUP to 
install.
