HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.  

2. Make sure the iPAQ 10/100 Fast Ethernet PC Card is inserted in a PCMCIA slot.

3. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.  In the Control Panel window, click the System 
icon. Click the Hardware tab.  Find the Device Manager section and click the Device 
Manager button.  

4. After Device Manager opens, find the Network Adapters icon and expand it by clicking 
the plus sign.  Locate the Compaq 10/100 Ethernet PC Card and click your right 
mouse button.  Click update driver. The Hardware Update Wizard will appear.  

5. When 'Install hardware automatically' is selected (the default), the Wizard will search
the entire hard drive for driver files to install.  (Or if you wish, you can select 
'Install from a list of specific locations' and point the wizard directly to your download 
directory from step 1). Click Next.

6. Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
