DESCRIPTION:  This softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskette 
for Compaq Version 2.09 Rev A.  For complete information on changes and 
enhancements to the OS/2 2.x Support Software Diskette, see WHATSNEW.RDM 
on the generated diskette.  

- The SCSI driver, CPQ53CX.ADD v2.24 has been updated to run on Compaq's Wide-Ultra SCSI Controllers.

- The Array driver, CPQARRAY.ADD v3.06 is a maintenance release.

- The Server Health driver, CPQHLTH.SYS v2.62 has been updated to provide support for Compaq ProLiant 2500 servers.

- The NetFlex-3 driver, NETFLX3.OS2 has been updated to:
    - Correct a potential problem which results in the user not able to open OS/2 windows if LANMSGDD.OS2 is not loaded.
    - Correct a potential problem of the driver not loading, if message files are not installed or incorrect message files are installed.
    - Operate in IBM LAN Distance environment.

- The NetFlex-3 drivers, NETFLX3.OS2 and NETFLX3.DOS have been updated to:
    - Provide support for the Integrated 10/100 TX UTP network interface controller on ProLiant 2500 servers.
    - Support promiscuous mode of operation.

- The NetFlex-2 driver for OS/2, NETFLX.OS2 has been updated to operate in IBM LAN Distance environment.
- The NetFlex-2 drivers, NETFLX.OS2 and DOS v2.50 allowthe user to log on to a Banyan VINES server in a Token Ring environment.

-The PSD driver, OS2APIC.PSD has been updated to support the following systems running OS/2 for SMP 2.11:
    - ProLiant 1500 Servers with the FlexSMP 5/133 Dual Processor Board.
    - ProLiant 1500 Servers with the FlexSMP 5/166 Dual Processor Board.
    - ProLiant 2500 Servers.
    - ProLiant 5000 Servers.

- Several new SCSI device drivers and setup utilities for the Deskpro XL are now included on this Support                        Software Diskette (SSD).

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and 
change to that directory.   The file that is downloaded is SP1941.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  
SP1941 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
275069US._01
SP1941.DOC

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create the diskette, run QRST5 and follow the on-screen 
instructions.

5.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP1941.EXE and the other files created on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Refer to the README.1ST file on the diskette for installation 
instructions and additional information.
