Description

This software provides the utility necessary for updating the reinstalling/updating the firmware for the Connection Point CP-2W Home Internet Wireless Gateway. The software provides a step by step user interface to allow the user to repair the CP-2W in the event of a CP-2W system BIOS failure or corruption. It also allows the user to upgrade to a revised version of the firmware should one become available.

DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains an updated firmware image (Version 1.02) for 
the Compaq iPAQ Connection Point CP-2W. A new firmware update utility (Version 1.3) 
is included to restore or upgrade the firmware.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Fixes issue with Wireless 802.11b WL110 PC Card where on a client computer 
   running Windows XP, the driver would lock the CP-2W functionality.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.The file downloaded is a 
self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the 
drivers and configuration utility.
