SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  Any LTE Lite 486 product with Windows 95

DESCRIPTION:  This is an unofficial system ROM (05/28/96) patch based
on the 10/12/94 ROMPAQ release with a fix to allow the hard drive to
spin down on a LTE Lite 486 family PC running Windows 95 while on
battery power.  This utility will upgrade the ROM to a 05/28/96 date.

SUPERSEDES:  N/A

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that
    directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1930.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: 
    SP1930 [ENTER] 
    You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a
    diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
    SP1930.EXE if you wish.

5.  Read the README.1ST text file on the diskette for detailed instructions.

6.  Plug the notebook into AC power, insert the created ROMPaq diskette 
into the A: drive, and boot from the diskette.  Follow on-screen 
instructions, selecting the ROM date 05/28/96.
DO NOT POWER DOWN DURING THIS PROCEDURE.

7.  After the procedure completes, remove the diskette from drive A: 
and power cycle the unit.
