               for the latest maintenance releases of Compaq ProLiant
               DL580 servers.

                Add POST notification to user if lowest revision processor is
                not the Bootstrap processor in multi-processor configurations.

                Fix issue where some Compaq Environment Variables could not be
                modified if an Administrative Password was enabled but not typed
                in during POST.  This could cause certain Compaq drivers and agents
                to not load or perform improperly if an Administrative Password
                was enabled.

                Fix issue with ROM mouse support for higher speed systems.

                Fix issue with unnecessary POST delay for some 40X CD-ROM Drives.

                Fix problem with the system hanging on a 101-IO
                ROM ERROR message. Reference EA : EL010802


HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP19172.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP19172 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP19172.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
