DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains the ESS 1946 Solo-1 Audio Driver 
              for Windows 2000 for the Presario notebook models listed above.

Enhancements/Fixes:

 - Fixes Softpaq installation issues. 

 - Fixes issue where the PC speaker did not beep when a PCMCIA card was inserted or 
   removed from the machine.  
 
HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file that is downloaded is 
    an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  Run the downloaded SoftPaq file via Windows Explorer and follow any on-screen
    instructions provided.
    
3.  Restart the notebook when the installation has been completed.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
