DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains the ADI Audio Driver for Windows 2000 for 
              the Presario notebook models listed above.
              
              Microsoft Certified for all listed operating systems.

Enhancements/Fixes:

 - Regains a 3dB loss in the audio volume.

 - Platforms that do not support S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital InterFace) now correctly 
   report that they do not. S/PDIF is a serial interface for transferring digital audio 
   between devices such as CD and DVD players and amplifiers

 - Fixes a confusing message box seen when opening the ADI Soundmax applet in the 
   control panel.

 
HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file that is downloaded is 
    an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  Run the downloaded SoftPaq file via Windows Explorer and follow any on-screen
    instructions provided.
    
3.  Restart the notebook when the installation has been completed.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
