DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq is only for customers who have upgraded one of the 
Compaq Presario notebook models listed above from Windows Millennium Edition (Me) 
to Windows XP Home. 

It is a companion to other SoftPaqs being offered in the Windows XP Home upgrade kit 
that remove incompatible versions of applications and replace them with compatible 
versions wherever possible. 

The function of this SoftPaq is to clean up invalid Uninstall references in Add/Remove 
Programs that may still remain after the Windows XP Home upgrade.

Affected applications include:
 - Compaq DVD Player
 - Norton AntiVirus 2001
 - Crystal Audio Driver
 - MultiMedia Hot Key

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file that is downloaded is 
    an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  Run the downloaded SoftPaq file via Windows Explorer and follow any on-screen
    instructions provided.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
