DESCRIPTION:  This creates the Peripheral Adapter Support Software Diskette, Ver. 1.05, containing a collection of Vines 6.0 drivers for Compaq devices other than network adapters. 

- Rev 1.0: Remote Insight Board Driver for Banyan VINES 6.20 (0).

         Rev 1.0:  RI Agent. This runs as a daemon and interacts with the RIB Driver and Health, IDA Agents to send down SNMP Traps to Remote Insight Board.

         Rev 1.0:  Health Agent. This runs as a daemon and monitors the Correctable Memory errors count, and informs RI Agent to send an SNMP Trap whenever a Correctable Memory Error occurs.

         Rev 1.0:  IDA Agent. This runs as a daemon and monitors the status of the Drive Array configured on the machine. It informs RI Agent to send an SNMP Trap in case there is any change in the status of the logical, physical, or spare drives.

         Rev 1.0:  RIVIEW. This is a curses (cursor) based utility that allows the user to monitor the Drive Array and Correctable Memory status on the server.

         Rev 1.0:  RICONFIG. This is a curses (cursor) based utility that allows the user to view and configure the Remote Insight Board online.

HOW TO USE: 

1.  Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1838.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1838 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
SP1838.DOC
SP1838._01
SP1838._02
QRST5.EXE

4.  To create the diskettes, at the DOS prompt run:
     QRST5 [ENTER]
Follow the on-screen instructions, which prompt you on when to insert the formatted diskettes and allow you to print labels.

5.  After the SSD diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1838.EXE and the other files it creates on the download directory if you wish.

6.  Insert the documentation diskette (the second diskette) into drive A and perform one of the following to view the installation instructions:
     From a DOS prompt enter "a:\readme"
          or
     Boot the system with the diskette in drive a:
