SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  Unit must be running DOS 5.0 or higher and load an XMS manager in the CONFIG.SYS file.

DESCRIPTION:  SHOWEXT.COM enables Compaq computers to report all extended memory in DOS  instances of Windows 3.xand Windows 95 using the MEM.EXE DOS program.  This is done by querying XMS and writing the value to a DOS memory table.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1835.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1835 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
SHOWEXT.COM 
SHOWEXT.DOC

3. After the files have been extracted, you may delete the downloaded file SP1835.EXE if you wish.

4. Refer to the SHOWEXT.DOC file for specific information and installation instructions.
