DESCRIPTION:  This is a Compaq Knowledge Center Software upgrade for the Presario 
models listed above that use the Compaq Knowledge Center. It provides enhanced 
service and support features through the Internet and easier access to Compaq 
technical support. 

To gain access to these improvements, you must download this new Compaq Knowledge Center.  

The Compaq Knowledge Center is a web-based support program used to help diagnose 
problems on a customer's computer.

Enhancements/Fixes:

 - Improves the way you contact Compaq for technical support (replaces Compaq 
   Assisted Support).  
 - Adds new models to PRODUCTS AFFECTED list.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The file downloaded is 
a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the 
upgrade.
