DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates .CAB files that contain a binary image for the
System ROM for Armada E500 and V300 Series notebooks. The BIOS/ROM image file must be 
used with Remote Management Software in order to actually flash (upgrade) the ROM image 
on one of the affected Armada notebooks. The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined
by running F10 Setup.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Fixes problem where CPU speed slowed down after Suspend/Resume. 
 - Fixes Windows 98 lockup on S4 resume. 
 - Fixes Windows 2000 lockup during startup when USB CD Writer from HP was attached. 
 - Fixes CpqFlash reboot & hibernation lockup. 
 - Fixes lockup on Windows reboot with legacy USB enabled. 
 - Turns off display when external monitor is being blanked. 
 - Fixes issue where notebook was not able to eject from docking station when
   user pressed eject button. 
 - Fixes intermittent I2C problems when the notebook was docked. 
 - Modifies thermal tables. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. 
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
SoftPaq Number above. 

2. The BIOS/ROM image file must be used with Remote Management Software in order
to actually flash (upgrade) the ROM image on one of the affected Armada notebooks.

3. When used with SSM, copy the SoftPaq to the file store.

4. When used with WINFLASH, run the SoftPaq to get the .cab file.
