DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
               for the latest maintenance releases of Compaq
               ProLiant DL360 Servers.


New Features -


        ProLiant DL360 ROM P21 (05/28/2001)
        ============================================

        Support mixing 1Ghz Coppermine C.0 Stepping (0686h) and D.0 Stepping (068Ah)
        processors. (C.0 must be in processor 1 socket.)

        Support a no Floppy drive configuration. Rom does not issue a 601-Diskette
        error message and halt at F-1 prompt if diskette is removed. It only puts
        up a message stating that there is no floppy drive present.

        Speed up POST.


Problems Fixed -


        ProLiant DL360 ROM P21 (05/28/2001)
        ============================================

        Fixed a problem where mouse INT 15h BIOS functions could hang occasionally on
        processors above 700 Mhz.



HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP18073.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP18073 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP18073.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
