DESCRIPTION:
This softpaq contains the Windows NT 4.0 / Windows 2000 Compaq
Intelligent Rack Manager Lite Software Version 1.1 which supports the Compaq Console Management 
Controller hardware device. Softpaq SP18006 can be used to install the latest technology 
to enhance your rack environment. This will allow you to monitor your rack's temperature, 
humidity, shock sensor, smoke detector and intrusion. SP18006 can be obtained from ftp.compaq.com.

Enhancements/Fixes: * Provides support for the optional CMC rack lock kit.
                    * Revised and enhanced Graphical User Interface.
                    * Enhanced security by allowing user to discover and change 
                      default SNMP community strings that are used by the application.
                    * Contains flash upgrade version 1.1 to allow version 1.0 
                      CMC devices to be upgraded within the application.
                    * Contains the version 1.1 SNMP MIB file for integration with 
                      Compaq Insight Manager and other SNMP management applications.
                    * Many minor SNMP problems are fixed in the CMC device with the 1.1 flash upgrade.
		

HOW TO USE:

 1. Download the SoftPaq into a directory and change to that
    directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with
    a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.
    From the directory that contains the expanded files double
    click the INSTALL.HTM file to launch the browser based install
    wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the 
    program.

 3. After the program is installed, the softpaq and all 
    installation files expanded in the directory in 
    step 1 can be deleted.
