DESCRIPTION:
Compaq Server Diagnostics will display information about the computer's 
hardware and  test the computer to ensure it is operating properly.

Test (diag.exe) can now do a controller ID and a read test of drives off of the controllers. Device list can list the controllers and the drives off of the controllers. Inspect can see the controllers but not the drives off of the controllers.  Currently this is an English Only feature.

HOW TO USE:
1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is 
a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number.

2.  Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Pressing 
"Space Bar" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in 
the download directory. The diskette image file, the image extraction tool, and 
the batch file to create the diskette are unpacked into this newly created 
directory.

3.  After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the 
self-extracting file downloaded in step one, as well as the directory folder 
and files created in step two. 


4.  Go to the system that you want to run Server Diagnostics on and power down the 
system.

5.  Place the newly created Diagnostics diskette in Drive A:, and power up the 
system.

6.  The system should then boot to Compaq Server Diagnostics.
