DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq creates a set of files to install a utility on the Evo Workstation
models listed above for upgrading the Windows NT kernel and HAL files from uniprocessor to 
multiprocessor support.

IMPORTANT:
 - You must have the Second Processor installed before installing this software.
 - You will need to have available the Location of the current loaded Service Pack.
 - This is only intended for use on a Dual Processor Workstation running 
   Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.

HOW TO USE:

1. Start Windows NT 4.0. 

2. Click the Start button on the Windows NT 4.0 task bar, and then select RUN. 

3. Insert the Compaq HAL Upgrade diskette into Drive A:

4. Run the MLTIPROC.EXE from the Diskette. 

5. Follow the instructions on the screen for loading the HAL Upgrade support. 

6. You must restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
