DESCRIPTION:  This creates a bootable diskette containing a utility that scans the PCI 
buses to detect the ICH2 stepping.  The stepping of the ICH2 and the bus, device and function 
details are displayed on the screen.  The utility identifies the B0, B1,B2,B4 and xB0 stepping.  

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. A blank 
formatted 1.44MB diskette is required to create the bootable diskette. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. To run the utility, insert the newly created diskette in the FDD and boot the
unit.  The utility will load and will scan all PCI buses, devices and functions
for the presence of the ICH2.  If the ICH2 is detected the ICH2 stepping and PCI
bus, device and function information will be displayed on the screen.  If the ICH2 
device is not detected then a screen prompt is displayed that indicates this.
