DESCRIPTION:
The Intel PRO/100 Management Software supports the Intel Pro/VM Network 
Connection, the Intel Pro/100 S Desktop Adapter, Intel 82559 Fast Ethernet LOM, 
and the Intel Pro/100+ Managment Adapters.

This release of the software has support for the following Operating Systems: 
Windows 98, Windows NT 4.x, Windows 2000, and Windows ME.

This driver is PC99 Compliant and supports Compaq System Software Manager (SSM) 
and Insight Manager LC. It also supports Alert On LAN Technology, when the 
prerequisites listed below are present.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded 
is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number 
above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, please refer to the Index.html file within 
the Info folder.

5. To create (optional) installation diskette run "makew2k.bat". This copies 
all Windows 2000 installation files to a diskette in the A: drive.
