DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
               for the latest maintenance releases of Compaq 
               ProLiant DL360 Servers.

        ProLiant DL360 ROM P21 (01/11/2001)
        ============================================

		- Support latest revision of Intel Pentium III processor.
		
		- Allow Compaq Insight Manager to control the Unit
		  Identification Light through the Compaq Health
		  Driver.


Problems Fixed -


        ProLiant DL360 ROM P21 (01/11/2001)
        ============================================

		- Fix issue with not being able to set Compaq Environment
		  Variables whenever an Administrative Password is enabled.
		  This caused some Compaq drivers to not function properly	
		  whenever an Administrative Password is set.

		- Prevent system from hanging when Type 2 Header PCI cards
		  are installed in the system.  Type 2 cards are not
		  supported in the PCI Specification, and we do not support
		  them (and they are incredibly rare). Instead of hanging,
		  the ROM will display an Unsupported PCI Card message.

		- Change ROM OS Selection Menu category from Unixware
		  to Linux/Unixware. The Linux selection is under this
		  category, and Linux is gained considerable popularity
		  such that we wanted to make sure users could easily 
		  find their OS selection.



HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP17015.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP17015 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP17015.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
