DESCRIPTION:  This contains a utility to install the audio drivers for  
Compaq Armada 100s and Notebook 100 models.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Resolves an installation problem seen with version 1.11 Rev A that caused the system 
   to lock up at the end of the installation of Windows 98 SE.
 - Fixes a noise issue when recording in Windows 2000.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download 
directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-
extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. The audio driver will install automatically after they are extracted.

5. When prompted to install or uninstall, select install.

6. Point to the Windows Cab files when prompted.  The default directory with
the Compaq preinstalled image is C:\Windows\Options\Cabs.

7.  After the installation, you may delete the temporary folder and all files in it.
