DESCRIPTION: This Softpaq provides the Compaq DVD Player software for the specific 
Compaq Presario notebook models listed above.
 
Enhancements/Fixes: 

Behavior expected for Standby, Hibernation and Critical Hibernation:
 1. System goes into Standby, Hibernation or Critical Hibernation.
 2. DVD Express stops playback and bookmarks the movie currently playing.
 3. System is powered from Hibernation by user.
 4. DVD Express stays in a stopped state until the user presses play.
 5. When the user presses play, DVD Express continues to play the bookmarked movie (unless
    movies have been changed during playback; then it will start back at the beginning.) 

The following issues are corrected:

 -  In Windows 2000, when refreshing the GUI, background was sometimes visible behind the 
    title and chapter numbers.
 -  In Windows 2000, the volume bar on DVD player would not work after coming out of 
    Standby mode.
 -  In Windows 2000, video was distorted when attempting to play a DVD moving after 
    playing the game Quake.
 -  In Windows 2000, could not play a DVD movie after logging in as any user other 
    than Administrator.
 -  In Windows 2000, CDVDPLAY.EXE displayed an error when returning from Hibernation 
    with a DVD playing.
 -  In Windows Me, the selected menu was not overlapping on certain European DVD titles.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file that is downloaded 
    is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  Run the downloaded Softpaq file via Windows Explorer and follow any on-screen
    instructions provided.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
