DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates a bootable floppy diskette that 
is used to update the System BIOS on a Compaq Notebook 100.  

IMPORTANT:  SoftPaq SP15582, Compaq Notebook 100 Keyboard BIOS Update, must 
            also be installed, either prior to or after installing this System 
            BIOS update.  Upon completion of the BIOS update, please go into 
            F10 setup, select "Exit" from the menu, and select "Save and
            Reboot"."

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Resolves an intermittent reboot issue. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download 
directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-
extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. The files will create a bootable DOS diskette designed to upgrade 
the System BIOS on the Notebook 100 system.  To install the System
BIOS upgrade, plug in AC power, and  boot the Notebook 100 from the
bootable DOS diskette.  Follow the screen prompts to install the
upgrade.

5.  Upon completion of the BIOS update, please go into F10 setup,
select "Exit" from the menu, and select "Save and Reboot"."
