DESCRIPTION: This creates a ROMPaq diskette that will upgrade the 
Contura 400/410 to a 17 May 1996 System ROM.  Enhancements and updates:
* Corrected issues with disabling of Floppy Drive from F10 Setup
* Corrected issues with the 420 MB Hard drives (SP1610 is also required 
to update the 420 MB Hard Drive Firmware)
* Enhanced StandBy and Hibernation functionality
* Add year 2000 modifications

HOW TO USE

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1652.EXE.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  
SP1652 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP1652.EXE if you wish.

5. Power down the laptop machine.

6. Place the newly created Contura 400/410 ROMPaq Diskette in drive A:, 
and power up the laptop unit on AC power.

IMPORTANT: Do not turn off power to the system while performing this 
procedure.
