DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates the Compaq 64-Bit/66Mhz Wide 
Ultra3 Controller Driver, adpu160m.sys version 6.0.4000.250 for Windows 2000.
        
Enhancements/Fixes:

The release of the Compaq 64-Bit/66Mhz Wide Ultra3 Controller Driver for Windows 2000
fixes a blue screen "STOP 0xD1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" Bugcheck issue. 
The bugcheck may occur on systems using the Adaptec based 64-bit/66-Mhz Wide Ultra3 
SCSI Controllers to connect to an external Compaq StorageWorks Disk
storage enclosure or Tape storage systems. This can happen on any Proliant system running with 
the Compaq 64-Bit/66Mhz Wide Ultra3 Controller Driver, adpu160m.sys 
version 6.0.4000.200 or earlier for Windows 2000.



HOW TO USE:

 
1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP16379.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded SoftPaq file:
      SP16379 [ENTER]
    and follow the on-screen instructions. The following files will be
    created:
     sp16379.cva
     adpu160m.cat
     adpu160m.inf
     adpu160m.sys

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
