DESCRIPTION:  
This SoftPaq contains the files required to install 
the Windows 2000 driver for DLT8000 tape drives and 
the Windows 2000 driver for the library changer, also 
called the medium changer in the W2000 device manager 
panel.This driver is for Microsoft Windows 2000, Intel 
platforms only. This is the initial release of the drivers. 

NOTE:
These drivers are supported only on the following systems
with the corresponding listed BIOS Code Levels, and the date
of the BIOS code must be the same date or newer than the date
listed:

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. 
The SoftPaq file that is downloaded is a self-extracting 
executable with a file name based on the SoftPaq Number above. 

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen 
instructions. Press the Space Bar to confirm the unpacking
of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the 
self-extracting SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1. 

4. For installation instructions, refer to README.TXT in 
the created directory.  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete 
the files unpacked in step 2.
