DESCRIPTION: 
The Compaq Console Switch Box firmware update is designed to upgrade the 
firmware of the following Compaq Console Switch Boxes to v1.5.0.
    - 400336-XXX (Spare P/N: 147092-001) 4 port console switch box
    - 400337-XXX (Spare P/N: 147094-001) 8 port console switch box
    - 400338-XXX (Spare P/N: 147091-001) Dual 8 port console switch box

Enhancements/Fixes:
The following issues have been resolved with 1.5.0:

  1) Fix PS2 bugs while scanning.
  2) Fix IBM RT3200 keyboard functionality.
  3) Fix flickering while holding down page UP/DOWN keys in the scan screen.
  4) Fix screen menu highlight so that the highlight will follow the switch.
  5) Fix energy screen saver mode so it will operate properly.
  6) Fix 2x8 security so that at startup both systems can not access port one.
  7) Fix so that any keys will be able to access screen menu during energy saver mode.

HOW TO USE

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, 
p lease refer to README.TXT in the created directory.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
