ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:

    1. Compaq Foundation Agents for SCO 5 --- SP16248 was recently posted on
the Compaq website that addresses a potential issue that significantly
affect the web-enabled Compaq management software (Compaq HTTP server)
during startup. In rare occasions when a system has been running for a
couple of days the cookie.dat file generates a cookie with a 0 sequence
number stored in it. The occurrence of 0 sequence number can cause the
HTTP Server to go through an incorrect code path. This occurrence can
significantly impact the HTTP Server during startup. Compaq recommends
that you download and apply the fix as soon as possible.

HOW TO USE:

1. On a non-Unix computer, download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard
drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a
self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be extracted,
        SP16248._01
        SP16248._02
        SP16248.TXT
        QRST5.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. Run Qrst5 to create 2 Unix-formatted diskettes that contains a custom
installable image of the Compaq Foundation Agents for SCO OpenServer 5.

5. Login as 'root' on the SCO OpenServer 5 server.

6. Run 'custom'.

7. Select installation from "Floppy Drive 0".

8. Follow the directions on the screen.

9. Remove the diskette.

10. Restart the server to complete the installation.
