DESCRIPTION: Contains files and a technical document needed to
configure the Compaq Recovery Server Option Kit Version 2.10 with
Microsoft SQL Server 6.5.
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and
change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is
SP1623.EXE.
2. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1623 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
- RSOSQLWP.DOC, an extensive installation document (essential)
- CPQRSSQL.EXE, an executable that automates the Fallback of SQL
database(s)
- CPQRSCFG.BAT, a batch file that launches CPQRSSQL.EXE
- FALLBAC3.SQL, a patch file provided by Microsoft that updates
SQL Server stored procedures
- SP1623.DOC, this file
3. After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP1623.EXE if you wish.
4. Read the RSOSQLWP.DOC document. This must be read to correctly
configure the Compaq Recovery Server Option Kit with Microsoft SQL
Server 6.5.
