DESCRIPTION:  This is a fix for audio issues when a PCMCIA card is inserted into one 
of the affected Presario notebook models listed above. It includes an updated 
WDMAUD.SYS file.

IMPORTANT:  This fix requires two SoftPaqs to be applied, in no specific order.
            One is this SoftPaq, SP16212.
            The other is SoftPaq SP16211, which provides an updated PORTCLS.SYS file.
           
HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file that is downloaded 
    is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  Run the downloaded SoftPaq file via Windows Explorer and follow any on-screen
    instructions provided.


IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
