DESCRIPTION:  This is the original driver for the Diamond Sonic 90 Impact PCI card 
shipped with Presario 5670 computers.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. 
Example (C:\MyDirectory)

2. Execute the downloaded file by double clicking on the file and follow the on-screen 
instructions. 

3. After the files have been installed, the computer will ask you to reboot. Click 
"Reboot Now" to proceed.

4. Once the computer has rebooted, if the device is not automatically recognized, a 
window will appear indicating that "New Hardware" has been found. You will also see 
"PCI Multimedia Device" within this window.  Click next to begin the driver association.

5. A window will appear asking you "What you want Windows to do". It will give you two 
options, "Search for the best driver for your device" or "Display a list of drivers in a 
specific location for you to select".

6. Select "Search for the best driver for your device". This will display a window which 
will prompt you to select the locations from which you would like to search.  Choose 
"Specify a location".  In the text box below type in the following "C:\Cpqdrv\Diamond\Win9x" 
without the quotes and click next.

7. The next screen will identify the hardware as the "Sonic Impact A3d Mulitfunction Parent" 
and verifies the location of the driver. Click next.

8. This will finalize the driver association and Windows will continue to load.
