DESCRIPTION:  This creates a bootable diskette that is used to upgrade the firmware 
in the 40x CD ROM drive in the Presario models listed above. 

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Corrects the issue with the LED on the CD ROM drive.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq into a temporary directory on your local drive.

2. Put a blank formatted diskette in the A: drive.

3. Execute the downloaded executable file (SP16137.EXE).

3. Follow the instructions on the screen. It will extract the files into 
   the diskette as well as in the current directory, and will also make 
   the diskette bootable.

3. Reboot the system with the diskette in Drive A. The system will reboot 
   to the A: prompt.

4. Type "update". It will upgrade the firmware. 

5. After the update is completed, remove the diskette and restart the system.

6. The temporary directory may be deleted.
