DESCRIPTION: This patch corrects the "No Fixed Disk Present " error when attempting a warm boot (Ctrl-Alt-Del) on certain Deskpro and ProLinea units containing one or more Frame Grabber Cards (ISA) from Imaging Technology Incorporated.
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP1611.EXE.
2. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1611[ENTER]
The following files should be created:
RSTCRD.COM
SP1611.DOC
3. After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1611.EXE if you wish.
4. Copy RSTCRD.COM from step 2 to the root directory.
5. Using an editor, add a line to the end of your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to execute at system boot.
The syntax is:
[c:][path]RSTCRD.COM [i/o address board 1] [i/o address board 2] [i/o address board 3]
where [i/o address board #] =
0 = 180h 4 = 280h 7 = 310h
1 = 190h 5 = 290h 8 = 320h
2 = 250h 6 = 300h 9 = 340h
3 = 260h
EXAMPLES:
c:\RSTCRD 5 (One card set for base address of 290h)
c:\RSTCRD 6 7 (Two cards set for base address of 300h and 310h respectively)
c:\RSTCRD 1 3 8 (Three cards set for case address of 190h, 260h and 320h respectively)
c:\RSTCRD (The default setting is for two cards set for 280h and 290h)
