SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  Upgrading WD video drivers 

SUPERSEDES:  N/A

DESCRIPTION:  When running a localized copy of Windows 3.1 or WFW 3.11 from a network using the SETUP /N option, the user is unable to upgrade the WD video drivers using WDSETUP.EXE.  This SoftPaq contains a replacement WDSETUP.EXE file that the user copies to the WD Drivers Diskette prior to upgrading, which corrects the problem.

PREREQUISITE:  WD Drivers Diskette, Version 1.08 Rev A

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1609.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1609 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
WDSETUP.EXE
SP1609.DOC

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1609.EXE if you wish.

4.  Copy the new WDSETUP.EXE file over the existing WDSETUP.EXE file on the WD Drivers Diskette Version 1.08 Rev A.

5.  You may now use the WD Drivers Diskette to upgrade the WD drivers.
