DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq creates a .CAB file that contains a binary image of the System ROM 
for the Professional Workstation AP550 and  SP750 models with a 686J4 Family 
ROM.  

This SoftPaq is used to flash the System ROM on target PCs on a network, and it 
requires System Software Manager (SSM) or Remote Management Setup.

The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utility by 
pressing F10 on the target computer during system power on of the computer, and 
viewing File/System Information.  This information can be saved into a text 
file by selecting File/Save to Diskette.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
 - Adds PCI configuration compensation for Phillips video capture card.
 - Adds microcode patches for latest stepping.
 - Corrects IDE flow for CD boot when image is emulating a hard disk.
 - Corrects PCI option ROM download algorithm for system configurations with 
   large PCI memory address locations.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The file downloaded is 
a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2.  Refer to the remote utility documentation for instructions on creating a Remote 
ROM Flash job to flash the System ROM on target PCs on the network.

WARNING:  DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE 
UPGRADE PROCESS!!!
