DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq creates files that contain a binary image for the System ROM for 
the Compaq Deskpro Workstation model AP240 and Deskpro Workstation model AP250, 
Deskpro EN Series and Deskpro EN Series SFF models P600/820, P667/820, and 
P733/820 with a 686J2 Family ROM.

This SoftPaq is used to flash the System ROM on target PCs on a network, and it 
requires System Software Manager (SSM) or Remote Management Setup.

The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utility by 
pressing F10 on the target computer during system power on of the computer, and 
viewing File/System Information.  This information can be saved into a text 
file by selecting File/Save to Diskette.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
 - Corrects a problem which intermittently caused the system to lock when Matrox 
   video graphics cards were installed and a power management event ocurred while 
   running Windows NT 4.0.  Correction allows monitor to time out but Matrox 
   graphics cards will not be power managed.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The file downloaded is 
a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number 
above.

2.  Refer to the remote utility documentation for instructions on creating a Remote 
ROM Flash job to flash the System ROM on target PCs on the network.

WARNING:  DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE 
UPGRADE PROCESS!!!
