SUPERSEDES:  N/A

DESCRIPTION:  This patch only applies to customers with Presario 5200, 7200, 9200, and 9600 computers in Denmark with MediaPilot 1.7i software.  This will correct the issue with MediaPilot not automatically answering the phone for an incoming call or fax due to a longer than expected delay between rings.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1604.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1604 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskettes into a diskette drive to create the diskettes.

4.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1604.EXE if you wish.

5.  Make sure the newly created diskette is in drive A.
    For Windows 95 users:
      Select START, SHUTDOWN....  Click on the button next to "Restart the Computer?"
      and click on YES.  The patch will automatically run from the diskette.
    For Windows 3.1x users:
      Select FILE, EXIT WINDOWS.... When the Exit Windows screen appears, click on OK.
      Power cycle the machine.  The patch will automatically run from the diskette.

6.  When the patch has completed, you will see a message which says "PLEASE REMOVE DISKETTE AND REBOOT."  Remove the diskette from the A: drive and power cycle the machine.
