DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq only applies to customers with Presario 5200, 7200, 9200, or 9600 computers who did not receive the diskette entitled "Install this Diskette" with their computer.  It corrects the following issues:
1. Configures MediaPilot for Caller ID if not already configured.
2. Corrects the MediaPilot maximum message length back to 300 seconds as documented.
3. Installs QTFIX.EXE, which corrects MPEG problems caused by Apple's QuickTime application.
4. Corrects a problem where the system clock may lose 6 to 10 seconds after a system reboot.
5. Corrects a potential problem where the MediaPilot speakerphone does not allow the person at the computer to hear the person being called.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1603.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1603 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place a formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1603.EXE if you wish.

5.  To install the patch, make sure the newly created diskette is in drive A:.
    For Windows 95 users:
      Select Start, Run... and type A:\CPQINST [ENTER]

6.  This patch adds the following calls to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
    RTC2TOD.COM
    ADCADJ.EXE
    QTFIX.EXE
    These files run during a Windows start/restart, but do not stay resident in memory.
