DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq provides the necessary drivers for the Compaq Internal 56K PCI 
(PM560LKI) Modem, an internal PCI modem card with functions including data, fax,
TAM (telephone answering machine) and V.80 video-ready interface support.

The V.90/K56flex PCI modem card design is based on Lucent Technologies L56xVCS 
(Venus) PCI controller-based modem chip set. The Venus-PCI chip set is a new 
and integrated member of the Lucent Venus family of controller-based modems. It 
has a high level of integration with V.90 and K56flex technology, and provides 
all the advantages of controller-based modems, such as operating system 
independent operation and minimum CPU loading. 

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
 - Adds support for new Deskpro and Workstation models.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting
file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, read and follow the instructions provided with the software.
