DESCRIPTION:  Creates a bootable diskette to upgrade the Battery Controller/
Keyboard Controller(KBC) ROM on only those Presario notebook models listed 
above that require the update.  

Enhancements/Fixes:

    -  Resolves an issue where the AC LED did not function properly when
       the system was shut down from the Windows 98 SE Start menu.
    -  Resolves an issue where an incorrect battery type was detected if the 
       battery was inserted and at the same time the system Power Button 
       was pressed.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with
    a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
    and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to
    insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the
    SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5.  Turn off the notebook to be updated and insert the created diskette.

7.  Turn the notebook on, allowing it to boot from the diskette.

8.  Follow the on-screen instructions to update the Keyboard Controller ROM.

    IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
