DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq provides an upgrade to the firmware for the Samsung 10X 
DVD drive model 612B in the Presario models listed above.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary directory on your computer.

2. Put a blank, formatted diskette in the A: drive.

3. Double-click on the downloaded file to execute it.

4. Follow instructions as they appear on the screen.  Files will be unpacked into 
the current directory on your local drive, as well as to the diskette.

5. Leave the diskette in the A: drive and restart the computer, allowing it to reboot 
to the A: prompt.

6. Type UPDATE and press the Enter key to complete the update.

7. When finished, remove the diskette and restart the computer.

8. The temporary directory, where the Softpaq was downloaded, may be deleted.
