DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains the original Presario Accton Freedom II Network 
Card Driver for the Presario models listed in PRODUCTS AFFECTED running 
Windows 2000. There are no enhancements included from the original.  It is being 
provided for customer convenience or for advanced users.

IMPORTANT:  This is for Windows 2000 ONLY.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq file SP15885.EXE to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Save your documents and exit your applications, because you will be required to restart
   your computer at the end of the next step.

3. To install the driver, run SP15885.EXE and follow the instructions on the screen.

4. The Network card drivers will copy to the following directory: 
	c:\winnt\compaq\nic

5. Once the drivers copy over, the installation will prompt for a reboot.

6. Upon reboot, if hardware detection detects new hardware installed, prompt the 
	system to find the network drivers on the path listed in step 4  
	
	or
	
	utilize "add/remove hardware wizard" in the control panel if the network
	card has not automatically detected on it's own.
