DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq unpacks the files required to create a bootable Compaq Server 
Diagnostics diskette.  A Compaq Server Diagnostics diskette contains programs 
that can perform tests of the hardware and display information about the server 
configuration.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
- Added support for drives larger than 30GB.
- Reduced memory test time by 15%.
- Added support to turn cache off during long test for ML530 and DL320 memory.
- Added Support for Integrated Smart Array Controller.
- Added SCSI support for ML330.
- Added Support for Compaq 64-Bit/66-MHz Wide Ultra3 SCSI
- Added Support for DL320
- Corrected CMOS clock losing or gaining time during some tests.
- Improved accuracies in device test time shown in diag log file.
- Fixed CPU test to prevent system lockup with 3 CPUs in DL580.
- Memory block count no longer scrolls off screen during test.
- No longer report erroneous "SCSI Over Temperature" while identifying SCSI 
  devices in diags.

HOW TO USE:
1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is 
a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number.

2.  Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Pressing 
"Space Bar" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in 
the download directory. The diskette image file, the image extraction tool, and 
the batch file to create the diskette are unpacked into this newly created 
directory.

3.  To create the Diagnostics diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow on-screen 
instructions.

4.  After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the 
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory folder and 
files created in step 2.

5.  Power down the system.

6.  Place the newly created Diagnostics diskette in Drive A:, and power up the 
system.
