HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq file to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. 
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
SoftPaq Number above.

2. Make sure your Compaq S4-100 Color USB Scanner is attached to your computer using
a USB cable, and that the scanner is powered on.

3. If the Add New Hardware Wizard appears, please cancel it before running the SoftPaq.

4. If you have not already done so, install the original Scanner drivers from the CD
that came with your scanner. If you have lost your CD, download and install SP15841.

5. Open (or Run) the SoftPaq file and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. After the Softpaq is installed, you may delete the Softpaq file and temporary 
directory (from step 1) if you wish.
