DESCRIPTION:  This is an update to the Windows 2000 modem driver for 
Armada 100S notebooks.

Enhancements/Fixes: 
 - Corrects DTR handling; now reports only "NO CARRIER" instead of 
   "NO CARRIER" followed by "OK" when DTR is dropped to terminate 
   a connection. 
 - Prevents modem from going into suspend mode once DTMF is complete.
 - Other detailed changes:
   - Change 33ms break to 66ms
   - Change cpm_tone_threshold from -35dBm to -45dBm
   - Change DTMF interval time to 10 for poland Unit of 10ms
   - Detect 2250-Hz tone (for V.22) during V.8bis and V.8.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq file to a directory on your hard drive. Note that all files 
   contained in the Softpaq will be extracted to this directory.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 

3. After the required files have been extracted, you may delete the 
   Softpaq file downloaded in step 1.

4. This driver should be installed using the Windows 2000 Device Manager. Select the 
   Device Manager by going to My Computer->Properties->Hardware->Device Manager, then
   double-click on Modems and select either HSP56MR to update the existing driver 
   or Simple Communications Controller if this is the intial installation of the driver.
