DESCRIPTION:  This fix can be applied to any Presario computer with a CDRW (CD Read/Write) drive.  It checks for a CDRW drive with firmware earlier than Version 1.14.  If found, it causes the box for "Disk Copy: Copy source CD to the hard drive first" to be checked by default in the Advanced tab of the Copy CD program. If an affected CDRW drive is not found, no changes are made. It also resolves a system hang when the system enters standby mode while burning a CD with Adaptec Easy CD Creator.    

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.  It will automatically install
the driver on your PC.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Click on "OK" to confirm that you want to install the driver.

3. Read the Licensing Agreement and click on "I Agree".

4. Once the Setup files have extracted, click on "Reboot Now" to 
restart the computer.
