DESCRIPTION: The Intel SpeedStep Technology Applet is a Windows program for the

multiple performance states:
- Battery Optimized (low frequency), and
- Maximum Performance (high frequency)
This applet places an icon in the Taskbar to provide a visual indication of
the CPU state. It also allows the user to set/adjust the CPU state to their
preference.
Enhancements/Fixes:
- Adds logo for Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0.
- Changed the default flags registry value to allow two-way transition on
Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.
- Fixes the issue on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 where the applet would not
load properly if the user did not have administrative privileges.
