DESCRIPTION:  This creates a patch to correct problems with the speakerphone where audio is "choppy" or where only one side of the converstation can be heard (e.g., you cannot hear the caller but the caller can hear you).  The patch resets the audio chip in your computer by adding a program called ADCADJ.EXE to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory and modifying the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to execute this program each time the computer starts.  The original AUTOEXEC.BAT is renamed to AUTOEXEC.ESS.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1508.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1508 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1508.EXE if you wish.

4.  From Windows 95 desktop, select Start, Run...

5.  Make sure the diskette is in the A: drive, type A:\INSTALL.BAT and click on OK.

6.  After the batch file completes, eject the diskette from the diskette drive.  Restart the computer by selecting Start, Shutdown, Restart the Computer.
