PRODUCTS AFFECTED:  Any Compaq product (such as Deskpro, Deskpro XL, or Prolinea) using a Matrox Millennium Graphics Adapter.  One way to determine whether your unit has a Matrox Millennium Graphics Adapter is to run INSPECT, a utility on the Compaq Personal Computer Diagnostics/TEST diskettes that ship with each Compaq product.

DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette that provides a flash video BIOS upgrade for the Matrox Millennium Graphics Adapter.  

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1495.exe.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1495 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1495.exe if you wish.

5.  At this point, the flash video BIOS upgrade diskette has been created and is ready to use.

6.  For upgrade instructions, refer to the README.1st file on the diskette.
