DESCRIPTION: This Softpaq is for Japanese products, and cannot be run in United States mode. It corrects a problem in which Compaq Insight Manager could not get version information via the Version Control function from a Compaq Server that installed Compaq Insight Management Agents for Windows NT 3.5xJ, Version 2.61J Rev C.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1490.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1490 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
CPQMGMT.EXE
UPDATE.CMD
READ.ME

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1490.EXE if you wish.

4.  To install and use the software, refer to READ.ME (Japanese).
